Classic Napa Chardonnay from a family that does it best?

Yes please.

Trefethen has been a staple in Napa Valley for decades, and has passed down know-how and traditions for multiple generations. A national historic landmark, the original winery dates back to 1886, but its modern identity is all thanks to John and Janet Trefethen’s rebuild in 1973.

With over 600 acres of vineyards surrounding their Oak Knoll estate, you could say this family knows a thing or six about producing world class juice from the heart of Napa’s valley floor.

Their 2018 Chardonnay is crystalline perfection, rich in depth, nuance and character. Aromas of lemon and lime meld effortlessly with notes of ripe green apple, poacher pead and hints of salinity, all filled to the brim with a beautiful energy that intoxicates with every sip. Rich on the palate, a tingling veil of acidity pierces through the entire experience, making this perfect for drinking alone or pairing with any number of dishes from cheeses to shellfish.

It’s a perfect answer to the late summer swoon, delivering a golden beam of light right when you need it most. The right bit of age for a little extra liquid love backed by pure Napa Chard pedigree!

And you can’t beat the price at $21!

Some pretty hefty scores thrown in to make you know we mean business, and a 97 from Decanter is basically unheard of. Especially for Napa Chardonnay!!

An unbeatable find from one of Napa Valley’s hallmark producers!

Decanter

A delicious, enticing Chardonnay which draws you into the glass with its fresh lemon rind and pith characters, balanced by a touch of perfectly judged oak sweetness. Very textural, showing strident fruit and a juicy finish.

Wine Enthusiast

This is an elegant, classically styled Chardonnay, brimming in structure and a light touch of ripeness. Green apple, stone and apple blossom tones rise to the fore of the nose and palate. It’s low in oak and supple in texture.
